Publication recognizes Sanders for dedication to customer success, driving savings through transportation efficiency
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – February 17, 2026 – Kenco, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is proud to announce Senior Transportation Planner Jarvis Sanders has been named one of Food Logistics’ 2026 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain. The publication recognized Sanders in the Top Transportation Professional category.
Sanders earned the award for his dedication to transportation excellence while serving as a fully onsite liaison for one of Kenco’s customers. He consistently balances relationships between receivers, shippers and carriers to reduce delays and meet demanding shipping requirements. His efforts delivered measurable results in 2025, helping the customer avoid 94% of on-time, in-full (OTIF) fines from a major retailer, exceeding his team’s 2025 goal of 90% avoidance.
“I live by a simple motto – people do business with people they like. So I’m focused on fostering stronger relationships and supporting communications between Kenco, my client and their customers,” Sanders said. “Transportation is a team effort, and I’m proud to know I’ve played a part in keeping the supply chain running smoothly.”
“Sanders’ work is a prime example of why Kenco’s transportation specialists stand out: they’re committed to providing crystal clear transit visibility, especially in times of unprecedented market uncertainty,” said Dave Kiesling, Group Vice President at Kenco.
“Kenco is continually innovating new technologies and strategies to keep our customers’ goods moving efficiently, but ultimately our success comes down to the people behind the planning – like Jarvis,” Kiesling said. “He’s consistently a shoulder to lean on, and he’s a wonderful ally to both his on-site customer and his peers. I’m proud, but certainly not surprised, that Food Logistics selected Jarvis for this year’s list.”
The Rock Stars of the Supply Chain awards recognize influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
“From cargo fraud and natural disasters to ever-changing food safety regulations and increase in tariffs and cost of goods, many of today’s supply chain leaders are faced with a number of challenges,” said Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics. “But it’s their resilience, hard work, innovation and attention to quality, sustainability and food safety that separates these rock stars apart from everyone else.”
