Sustainability report highlights strong operations and the people and data driving Kenco’s progress

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Oct. 20, 2026 – Kenco, a leading third-party logistics provider, today announced the findings of its annual Sustainability Report, highlighting progress in emissions management, electrification, community engagement, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) throughout 2025. The report demonstrates how Kenco is building operational resilience while supporting long-term growth.

Kenco improved Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon intensity by 3.45% year-over-year, decreasing from 0.028 to 0.027 metric tons of CO2e per $1,000 of operational revenue, even as the company continued to expand its network. Additionally, Kenco calculated its Scope 3 emissions for the first time, expanding emissions coverage and establishing a baseline for future measurement and reporting. The effort provides greater visibility into emissions drivers across the organization and strengthens Kenco’s ESG data maturity.

Among the report’s other highlights, Kenco:

  • Increased the percentage of electric material handling equipment across its portfolio to 86%, up from 78% in 2024.
  • Improved data collection across more than 140 locations to enhance ESG readiness and compliance.
  • Expanded employee development and well-being through language-learning programs and Mental Health First Aid training and certifications.

“Our sustainability strategy is focused on building resilience across our operations and the supply chains we support,” said Denis Reilly, President and CEO at Kenco. “By improving data quality and investing in efficient technologies, we’re making more-informed decisions while delivering the reliable service our customers expect.”

Kenco’s progress extended beyond its environmental initiatives. Associates contributed 3,378 volunteer hours in 2025, a 24% increase from 2,733 hours in 2024 and the highest annual total Kenco has measured. Employees supported more than 100 organizations and employee-led initiatives, including a company leadership summit effort that collected more than 250 books for Girls Inc, a Chattanooga non-profit that inspires and equips girls.

“Our sustainability efforts are only possible because of the people who bring them to life,” said Caroline Guild, Sustainability Manager at Kenco. “From volunteering in our communities to identifying opportunities to improve operations, our associates continue to drive meaningful progress across Kenco.”
