The Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics award honors female leaders who have shaped the supply chain network and paved the way for future professionals

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Sept. 8, 2025 – Kenco, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider, today announced two members of its team have earned the Women in Supply Chain Award. Judges from Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics named Shanon Weber, Group Vice President for industrial, to the Trailblazer list and Skylar Greer, Director of Transportation Account Solutions for food & beverage, to the Rising Stars list.

Weber joined Kenco 23 years ago, beginning as a general manager over a multi-client facility and growing through director & VP positions to now oversee 20 distribution centers. She has led several of Kenco’s most complex projects, including its first AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system installation, a multi-million dollar investment. Throughout the last six years, Weber has also played a critical role in the development of Kenco’s Operating System – driving business excellence and ensuring operational consistency across all 140+ Kenco sites.

“You grow in our industry by being comfortable with being uncomfortable. Don’t be afraid to step into the unknown,” Weber said. “You may not feel completely ready, but that’s ok. Raise your hand for opportunities that challenge you, and trust that you’ll figure it out along the way.”

Greer joined Kenco five years ago and has focused on changing the industry’s misconception that prioritizing safety and quality increases costs. With her guidance, Kenco has developed strategies that keep its customers as cost-neutral as possible while still delivering top-tier service and equipment. She’s also highly involved in leadership development activities, now entering her second year with Kenco’s leadership cohort L.E.A.D.

“Working in a male-dominated industry, I initially felt pressure to shrink my personality and accomplishments. However, I have learned authenticity and conviction are not only acceptable, but essential for success,” Greer said. “Be unapologetically yourself. Don’t let anyone else diminish your confidence or change how you see yourself.”

Weber and Greer join an extensive list of female Kenco leaders recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics, including last year’s Women in Supply Chain Award winner Rebecca Wilson and Pros to Know Lifetime Achievement Award winners Kristi Montgomery and Paula Hise.

“Shannon’s and Skylar’s fingerprints are all over our most successful projects in the last few years. Their deep understanding of shipper needs and dedication to efficiency across the supply chain make them invaluable members of our team,” said XX, XX at Kenco. “It’s no surprise Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics saw the same leadership qualities in them that our team sees every day.”
